Guest Speaker: Paul Rapoport
Topic: Comparing costs of ownership of electric and gasoline vehicles.
About our speaker: Dr. Paul Rapoport, a university professor, has driven an EV for more than five years and been a member of the EV Society for almost as long. He’s interested in getting people into EVs, believing that once they’re in, they’ll want to stay in!
He will demonstrate a novel way of using cost of ownership to show how EVs are cheaper to drive than gasoline vehicles. Sometimes, he says, the results are surprising.
We will return to our normal monthly venue at the Sandbox Centre once the COVID-19 precautions are over. Until then, we gratefully acknowledge the Sandbox Centre for allowing us the use of their meeting space. Sandbox (SBX) is an organization that connects people and their ideas to business resources and works with start-ups, scale-ups, large enterprises, idea generators, leaders, or change makers – SBX supports all stages of business!
